GRAMMAR RULE
Example :
I played badminton last night. We were at the circus last Tuesday.
He ate ice cream yesterday. She was the famous unicyclist.
They saw the circus last week. I won the first medal two days a go.
REMEMBER :
For regular verbs, we use verb + - ed; play - played, watch - watched
For irregular verbs, we use special form ; eat - ate, drink - drank, cut - cut
when we use negative sentence, we don't change the verb but use 'did not' instead, for example : I didn't go to Bali last week.
He didn't watch Avenger last night.
