PRISMS have 2 BASES that name the prism​

• Opposite bases are the same shape

• Opposite bases are congruent

• There are 2 bases and can be any polygon

• Prisms can't have a circle base

PRISMS have multiple rectangular faces

• The number of faces a prism has is equal to the number of sides of the prisms base (example triangle = 3)

• Get the area of base - multiply times 2 (for its opposite)

• Add them all together together for SURFACE AREA
