Formula Triangle can be used to find force, mass and acceleration or speed, distance and time.

Calculating Speed

  • Cover the "S" for speed

  • Distance and time will be calculated to determine speed

  • Since distance is on top, you will divide distance by time.

  • D/T = S 

  •  D÷TSD\div T\equiv S  

  • Write units for speed:  km/s

  • Round answer to nearest 100th
