Today we will learn about Statistical Questions and how to identify them.

Family Feud
I had you watch a clip from Family Feud because in that show they ask a lot of Statistical Questions.
All of the questions can have a variety of answers, making it a statistical question.

A question that expects different answers, not just one. Statistical questions use data to find patterns or summaries.
Example: "How many pets does each student in our class have?"
This is statistical because everyone might have a different number of pets.

A few things must happen:
A good "stats" question will allow multiple people to answer the question.
A good "stats" question will allow for a variety of answers.
It is all about how you word it!
