Troubleshooting Your MIDI Keyboard

1. Connect the MIDI keyboard to your CCA laptop using the included USB cable.

2. Press on the link below to open Chrome Music Lab Shared Piano. https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Shared-Piano

3. If there is no sound, review the troubleshooting steps shared by your teacher.

If prompted in Shared Piano, press

​IMPORTANT:
Always plug in your midi keyboard before opening Chrome Music Lab. This will give you more success in creating a sound the first time.

DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation.

"It won't make sound!!"

Sometimes your MIDI keyboard may not make sounds as soon as you set it up. That's ok!

 

Breathe and take the following steps:

 

1. Unplug your keyboard

2. Replug it to your computer

3. Refresh the site

About the Keyboard

The treble clef is assigned to the notes above middle C. Therefore, the right hand plays the treble clef notes.
