What to include in a closing paragraph.
The closing paragraph should contain a summary statement for your essay and a thought-provoking clincher for the last line. The last line is your last opportunity to connect with the reader or examiner and create a lasting impression.

1. restate the thesis statement in a new, more assertive way
2. summarises the main points which reconfirm your argument
