Uncountable nouns, also known as mass nouns, are nouns that represent things that cannot be counted as individual items. They are treated as a whole or a mass, rather than discrete objects. Examples include "information", "water", "furniture", and "advice". They generally do not have a plural form and are not used with the articles "a" or "an".
