Uncountable nouns, also known as mass nouns, are nouns that represent things that cannot be counted as individual items. They are treated as a whole or a mass, rather than discrete objects. Examples include "information", "water", "furniture", and "advice". They generally do not have a plural form and are not used with the articles "a" or "an".
UNCOUNTABLE
A countable noun is a noun that refers to things that can be counted as individual items and has both singular and plural forms. You can use numbers with countable nouns (e.g., one car, two cars) and words like "a," "an," "many," or "few".

Grammar explanation. Nouns can be countable or uncountable. Countable nouns can be counted, e.g. an apple, two apples, three apples, etc. Uncountable nouns cannot be counted, e.g. air, rice, water, etc.
