• Pick 1 color for each type of landform on your map

  • Water, Forests, Plains, Mountains, Deserts

• Color in that landform on your Map Key

  • Dot, lines, etc

• Only use this color for these landforms

• Draw in your NESW Arrows

1. Do Not Write (Label) On Your Map With These Colors

2. You may have to "draw" landforms on your map

   1. Rivers, Plains, Desert, Forests, Mountains

3. Do not label everything on examples map

   1. Some maps have more than you need to do

2. Labeling Your Map

• Place the following Water landforms on your map

• Rivers: St. Lawrence, Hudson, Ohio, Mississippi, Colorado,

• Oceans: Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean

• Lakes: Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior

• Need to draw in rivers

• Label all landforms in pencil

• Appalachian Mountains

• Rocky Mountains

• Sierra Nevada Mountains
