  Setelah mengikuti pembelajaran ini, peserta didik diharapkan dapat:

  1. Mengidentifikasi struktur dan ciri kebahasaan dari teks deskriptif.

  2. Memahami isi teks deskriptif sederhana tentang orang, tempat, atau hewan.

  3. Menulis teks deskriptif sederhana menggunakan struktur dan kosa kata yang tepat.

  4. Melafalkan dan membacakan teks deskriptif secara lisan dengan lafal dan intonasi yang tepat.

Penjelasan materi

Descriptive Text adalah teks yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan seseorang, hewan, benda, atau tempat secara rinci agar pembaca bisa membayangkannya.

Struktur Teks:

1. Identification – Pengenalan objek yang dideskripsikan.

2. Description – Penjabaran ciri-ciri, sifat, bentuk, warna, dan sebagainya.

Ciri Kebahasaan:

• Menggunakan Simple Present Tense

• Menggunakan adjective (kata sifat): beautiful, tall, friendly

• Menggunakan kata kerja be (is, am, are)
