Poll

Mark loves his singing club!  They have great discussions about music and create great arrangements of songs they all enjoy.  He really enjoys leading the group.  To keep the momentum going, he starts a group chat with most everybody in the group.  There are a few students who rarely speak up and one kid that tends to annoy everyone with off-topic conversation at every opportunity, so he doesn’t include those in the group.  This is just a place for most of them to continue to connect between meetings.  Is this an ethical use of technology?

Yes

No

Alex cannot make the leadership meeting, but he knows that if he accepts the appointment on his calendar, his Otter AI will attend for him and take notes. Great!  He accepts the invitation, but does not attend.  Jack is secretary and attends the meeting with his Otter AI.  He copies and pastes the notes the AI sends him into an email to send to the group afterwards for a meeting recap.  Jim has problems staying focused in meetings and knows that he sometimes loses track of what’s going on.  He brings Otter AI with him because he knows that he can review the notes afterwards to make sure he got everything.  Are these ethical uses of technology?
