はじめまして、
〇〇です。なまえ

Hajimemashite, ..... desu.
O namae wa?

はじめまして、〇〇です。
よろしく おねがいします

Hajimemashite, ..... desu.
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

🧩 Let's explain:

💠「なまえは?」ー o namae wa? = “What is your name?”

1️⃣ The function of「 "o"」in「なまえ "o namae"

👉「お "o" is a polite prefix.

👉 It makes the word more respectful or polite when talking about or to someone else.

2️⃣ The function of "wa"in「おなまえ?」

👉「は "wa" is a topic marker particle in Japanese.

👉 It marks the topic of the sentence — what you’re talking about.

💬 So, in 「おなまえは? "o namae wa?", You're saying:

“As for your name…?” → meaning: "What is your name?"

👉 It's a shortened version of:

おなまえは なん ですか?」 O namae wa nan desu ka?
 What is your name?

media

ノート:〇〇です.... desu】= “I am 〇〇

Replace 〇〇 with your name

..... kara kimashita.

🗣️ Example:

Q: どこから きましたか? ー Doko kara kimashita ka?
 Where are you from?
A: ペンシルベニアから きました。たろうさんは?
 Penshirubenia kara kimashita. Tarou-san wa?
I came from Pennsylvania. How about you, Tarou?

media

ノート:〇〇から きました.... kimashita】= “I'm from 〇〇

Replace 〇〇 with your country, state, or city of origin

✨ Let’s focus on:
から "kara"」+「きました "kimashita"

1️⃣
から"kara" = “from”

It tells where you came from.

You put the place before「から "kara"

🧠
Think of:
[Place] + から "kara" = from [place]

👉 アメリカから ー Amerika kara = from America 🇺🇸

👉 にほんから ー Nihon kara = from Japan 🇯🇵

Verb:
きましたkimashita = “to came”
    〇〇から きました.... kara kimashita
   "I came from ...."

media

ノート:〇〇じん....-jin】= “A person from 〇〇” / "an ......"

Replace 〇〇 with a country.

✨ Let’s focus on:
「country」+「じん "jin"

1️⃣
じん "jin" = “person, people”

The suffix じん "jin" is added after the name of the country to indicate one's nationality (example: American, Japanese, etc.)

2️⃣ If you want to describe your
specific ethnic descent and nationality, you can use this grammar pattern:
〇〇けい 〇〇じん "....kei ....jin" .

🔹 First, Let’s Review: What is the particle 「を」 (o)?

🧩 Structure: [Object (noun)] + を o + [Verb (casual form)]のが no ga + すきです suki desu

✏️ What’s を o?

The particle 「を o」 is used to mark the direct object of a verb — the thing the action is being done to.

You place 「を o right after a noun to show what you're doing something to.

🧠 Think of it like this:

You play a game ゲームを する ー geemu o suru
You read
a bookほんを よむ ー hon o yomu

💡 So in Japanese, it’s:
[Noun (object)] を o + [Verb]

🔹 Now Let’s Combine with のが すきですno ga suki desu

Structure:

[Noun] + + [Verb (casual form)]のが + すきです

We are saying:
➡️ "I like doing (something)."

So we use:

o, to mark the object (what we are doing)

casual form of the verb (the action we do)

のが すきです no ga suki desu, to say we like the action

💡Example:
テレビを みるのが すきです。Terebi o miru no ga suki desu.
I like watching tv.

🔍 What’s the function of 「の no」 before 「が ga」?

「の no」 turns the verb into a noun-like phrase, so it can be the subject of the sentence.
Think of it like “eating” instead of just “eat.” Example:
Miru = to watch | Miru no = watching (the activity)

22
