May and Might

• Both may and might express possibility

• We use them when we are not sure something will happen

May = It could happen (higher probability)

Might = It could happen, but not so sure (lower probability)

May and Might

Example:

• They might play football later.

• I may visit my uncle and aunt

​Structure: Subject + may/might + base verb
