Each day, unless otherwise preplanned, you will have an edio lesson to complete. Most of the time we will complete the lesson together in Zoom during our period 10 guided instruction. If we do not complete the lesson together, you are responsible for completing the rest on your own.

edio Lessons

Other times, you will be asked to log into an outside platform, or third party tools, such as Wayground (which we are in today), Classkick, Kahoot, etc. to complete a graded or nongraded assignment.

Please don't forget though, I am always here to help!

The use of AI and plagiarism will NOT be accepted.

The first time work is submitted that has been plagiarized or AI created, students will receive a zero for that item, a phone call home, and their Assistant Principal will be notified.

They will then be given an alternate assignement. Any instances of cheating thereafter will be given a zero without the chance to redeem the points or to redo the assignment.

Cheating is not tolerated in this course.

10

This policy applies to lessons as well as any writing assignments, and projects.

I do NOT expect perfection or for everyone to be a wonderful writer.

However,
I do expect honesty, integrity, and effort from everyone.

media

You will have many resources available to you to help you with the readings and any writing assignment, lesson, and/or project assigned to you.

USE THEM!

Most of the time, graphic organizers will be required for writing, but they will also be available to help you stay organized with some readings, too.

Visuals, charts, timelines, photos, and other tools will be given to you to supplement your material in this course. They are there to help you! :)

LASTLY...
Watch the recordings!

media

Most likely, the answer to your question or the explanation you seek has already been addressed in the recording of guided instruction. If you do not attend guided instruction or live class, watch the recordings. There is A TON of information gone over in Zoom that is not written in edio.

15

I love what I do. 🖤

I can do it better when I know how.

If there is something I should know about you that is going to help me help you this school year, please don't be afraid to let me know.

On the next slide you will have a textbox to inform me of anything that you feel I should know.

Example: "Mrs. CInti, I work from 12 pm to 8 pm, so attenidng guided instruction will not be something I will be participating in often. I will watch the recordings and be working mostly asynchronously."
