Which of the following angles is the Acute angle? (less than 90 degrees)
6
Multiple Choice
Which of the following angles is the Straight angle? 180 degrees?
7
Multiple Choice
Which of the following angles is the Obtuse angle? (greater than 90 degrees)
8
Multiple Choice
Which of the following angles is the Right angle? (equal to 90 degrees)
9
Poll
I can identify acute, obtuse, and right angles.
Absolutely
Maybe with my notes
I'm still confused
I don't understand the question.
10
Vertical Angles
Vertical angles are opposite angels formed by the intersection of two lines.
Congruent angles have the same measure or value.
Vertical angles are congruent.
11
Multiple Select
Look at the picture of the angles. Select all statements that are true. (Click on the picture to enlarge).

Poll
I can find the value of a vertical angle.
I got this. It's easy
I can do this with my notes.
I still don't understand.
Was I supposed to take notes on this?
16
Adjacent Angles must meet all three criteria.
Share a common vertex
Share a common side
They do NOT overlap
side by side
17
Multiple Select
Select all of the pictures that represent adjacent angles.
18
Multiple Select

19
Poll
I can see how angles are adjacent.
This make sense, I understand.
I'm still a little confused
What does adjacent mean?

7.2: Complementary & Supplementary Angles
Wednesday 3/17/21

23
24
25
Remember, adjacent angles are "next to" each other, in the sense that they share a common vertex and side, but don't overlap.
So, non-adjacent means that the angles are separate from each other and do not share a common vertex and side.
26
In the first examples, you will check if pairs of angles or complementary, supplementary, or neither depending on the sum of the angles.
Review the vocabulary, if needed. When you are ready, move on to the next slide.
27
Multiple Choice
Tell whether the angles are complementary, supplementary, or neither.

In the next examples, you will write and solve equations to find the value of x. You did this yesterday too... so your equations will either add up to equal 90 or add up to equal 180.
