What am I?

​2. I shine bright but I’m not the sun. I need a circuit to have fun. What am I?

​Riddle time!

​Objectives:

Learn what an electric circuit is and how it works.
လျှပ်စီးပတ်လမ်း ဆိုတာဘာလဲ၊ ဘယ်လိုအလုပ်လုပ်လဲဆိုတာကို သင်ယူမည်။

Use an electric conductor to make the circuit.
လျှပ်ကူးပစ္စည်းတစ်ခုကို အသုံးပြုပြီး လျှပ်စီးပတ်လမ်းတစ်ခု ပြုလုပ်မည်။

Put the LED in the right way (polarity) so it lights up.
မီးလင်းရန်အတွက် LED မီလုံးကို မှန်ကန်သော ဖို  ၊ မ လမ်းကြောင်းတွင်ထားပါ။

Make and decorate a paper artwork that glows.
စာရွက်ပေါ်တွင် အလှဆင်၍ မီးသီးလေးအား လင်းလာအောင် အတူတကွလုပ်ဆောင်ပါ။

In your assigned group, you will need to fulfill one or more roles mentioned below:

​Electrical Engineer / Circuit Builder

​Tester / Troubleshooter

​Materials Manager

​Innovator / Decorator

​A simple circuit is a path that allows electricity to flow from a power source (battery) through wires to a device (LED) and back to the power source. When the path is complete, the device works; if the path is broken, the device will not work.

​Battery → wire → LED → wire → battery.

​Check the polarity before connecting.
ချိတ်ဆက်မှုမပြုလုပ်မီ ဖို ၊ မ လမ်းကြောင်းကို စစ်ဆေးပါ။

​As per the artwork, create the circuit on the back.
အလှဆင်ထားသော စာရွက်နောက်တွင် လျှပ်စစ်လမ်းကြောင်းအား ဖန်တီးပြုလုပ်ပါ။

​Do not cover the entire battery with tape.
ဘက္ထရီတစ်ခုလုံးကို တိပ်ဖြင့် မဖုံးအုပ်ပါနှင့်။

​Press the connected points to check if they are working properly.
ချိတ်ဆက်ထားသောနေရာများကို နှိပ်ကြည့်ပြီး အဆင်ပြေမှုရှိ/မရှိ စစ်ဆေးပါ။
