​Earth Science is a mix of different sciences that focus on Earth’s land, water, and air, as well as outer space. It explains the systems on Earth that make life possible. Earth interacts with the Sun and the Moon in space. While the Sun and Moon can be seen from Earth, they are actually very far away. The Moon is much closer to Earth than the Sun.
