Introduction to Prepositions
• Prepositions are words that show a relationship between a noun and other words.
• Think of them as direction and location words that connect ideas in a sentence.
• They tell us where, when, or in which direction something is moving or located.
• For example, in the sentence 'The cat is under the bed,' 'under' shows its location.
• Using prepositions correctly makes your writing much more precise and clear.
