​I--Input: Data (text, numbers, images, videos) is put into the computer system using input devices such as keyboard, a mouse, microphone

​O - Output: The information processed is given out as output. Devices used include monitor, printer, projector, speaker (to bring out sound) and LEDs to bring out light

​S--Storage: The information is also stored temporarily (using RAM) or permanently using hard drives.
