A ballot box is...

• a small area in a theatre or court
• a box in which people put their ballots after voting
• the television
• a container made of wood, cardboard, metal, etc.

A bill is...

• a document that shows how much you owe somebody for goods or services
• a piece of paper money
• Draft of a proposed law to be discussed in parliament

A party is...

• one of the people or groups of people involved in a legal agreement or argument
• a social occasion, often in a person’s home, at which people eat, drink, talk, dance and enjoy themselves
• a political organization that you can vote for in elections. For example Labour Party

A voting booth is...

• a small tent or temporary structure at a market
• a place to sit in a restaurant which consists of two long seats with a table between them
• a small confined place where you can do something privately, for example vote
