Rameck, George and Sampson take the chance to become rap stars and form a group "A.R.T".

The social aspect of living in the college atmosphere was difficult. Rameck assaults another student but instead of being charged he is given a second chance. They decide to form an organization called "Ujima" that reaches out to kids in the community.

Rameck and Sampson get accepted into Access Med and George into the University of Medicine and Dentistry. For the first time since high school the three of them won't be together. Sampson has doubts about becoming a doctor and Rameck encourages him to continue his study

Rameck is arrested "Driving while Black" and charged with interference with a police officer and possession of a deadly weapon. The evidence against him was lost and the case was eventually dropped.
