During work time in computers, you may

• talk, as long as you're working at the same time.

• see if you're able to guess your classmates' passwords

• log on to your personal email or social media account

• browse the internet freely

When using online pictures in your work, you can:

• Use any image from the internet you want.

• Use any picture from the internet you want, just be sure to cite it.

• Download what copyright laws allow and cite accordingly.

You're stuck on something, you should:

• Ask the person next to you right away.

• Problem-solve, then ask a friend. If they're stuck too, ask Mrs. Howard.

• Put your hand in the air and play a game until Mrs. Howard can help you.

We have a lot of technology at our school, that means:

• If yours is broken, just grab someone else's.

• if you break it, it doesn't matter

• You're expected to be responsible in how you use it.

You can chat while you work - but when Mrs. Howard calls out 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...you

• Listen (you can leave your earbuds in.)

• Listen (with your earbuds out - that's just good manners :)

• Realize this is a great time to ask Mrs. Howard to go to the restroom.

When you're done using a Chromebook in junior high...

• Put your Chromebook in your desk.

• Plug your Chromebook in on the correct side.

• Leave the Chromebook on top of the cart

• Put your Chromebook in a random slot in the cart
