• when the land moves down

• when rocks slide down a mountain

• when trees fall at the same time

• It happens after a volcano erupts.

Imagine you are camping in a hilly area. How can you find out if it is a safe place to camp?

• If there are other campers, it is probably safe.

• If it's too windy, it isn't safe.

• Look to see if there is a lot of loose rock around.

• Climb a hill to make sure it is sturdy.
