• The production method used to make large amounts of a product non-stop

What is a production aid?

• A 2D scale drawing of a product showing the front, plan and end views

• A production method used to make a single unique product at a time

• A tool or process used to speed up simplify or help control the accuracy of a production process.

• An approach to manufacturing that minimises the waste produced

What is iterative design?

• Designing things that have never been designed before

• A design strategy that involves constantly evaluating and improving a products design

• Making a practice version of a design or part of a design

• The instructions that a client gives to a designer about what they want the product to be like
