Classroom Expectations

Learning and deepening my knowledge of American History is my first priority in this class, therefore I will NOT be permitted to...

• use my cell phone for any reason at any time

• Ask questions that are relevant to the topic

• Make up missing assignments

I am required to have in class EVERY day:

• a water bottle

• a notebook just for this class

• my book bag

If I am cheating on a test or copying someone else's worksheet....

• I will automatically receive a ZERO

• It is a warning, next time it is a call home

• After school detention

I will receive a participation grade EVERY Friday based on...

• My class behavior

• Being on time and sitting in my assigned seat

• Completing the Challenge Question, participating and being on-task

When I am absent from class for any reason...

• A class mate till contact me with missing assignments

• Ms. Lamm will keep a folder for me

• it is my responsibility to communicate with Ms. Lamm about what I missed

Ms. Lamm does NOT accept Late Work after....

• 1 week

• 2 weeks

• 3 weeks

When the lecture & note taking part of class is taking place....

• I may quietly go to the trash can

• I am not permitted to leave my assigned seat for any reason

• I can sleep

If I pack up early before Ms. Lamm instructs me to do so....

• I will earn after school detention

• I will be assigned an extra assignment

• I will be penalized for 1 minute before I can leave

End-of-Course Exams for American History are worth,,,,

• 10% of my Final Grade

• 25% of my Final Grade

• 50% of my Final Grade

If I move my desk, write on my desk, or leave my desk messy, Ms. Lamm will....
