Choose the responsibilities of the outside technician (field technician)

• They are responsible for the ongoing operation, maintenance, and security and safety of that area.

• They are responsible for the operation and control of the entire process unit from the control panel (DCS)

• They are responsible to monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons

• They are responsible for maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible

Select two (2) duties of the outside technician (field technician)

• Operate Unit Equipment

• Sampling and sample analysis

• Coordinate maintenance work

• Familiar with process control

As a field technician, select two (2) the duties while doing area round in process plant

• Instrument readings to be recorded

• Inspections to be made

• Fix and maintain mechanical equipment

• Assembling, testing, inspecting and packaging products as per work instructions

As a field technician, select two (2) continuation action to be made if problem occur while doing area round in process plant.

• Reported to the lead technician or the shift supervisor

• Request to be corrected or repaired by maintenance via a work order

• Upload the problem in the social media network

• Develop plans for rescue and transportation to medical facilities

Select two (2) tasks of the outside technician should perform in preventive maintenance activities.

• Tightening valve packing nuts for packing leaks

• Lubricating equipment

• Monitor all of the operations of the plants

• Maintain the safety and confidentiality of a plant

Choose the task will be done by the outside technician to maintain the rotating equipment in their area

• Follow the lubrication schedule described on their rounds list

• Blowing suction screens

• Servicing steam traps

• Reported to the lead technician or the shift supervisor

Select two (2) safety equipment that the field technician should inspect.

• Fire extinguishers

• Safety showers and eye wash stations

• Fire trucks

• Safety glass
