Stages

Stage 1 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA greeting the PAX and asking them where they would like to head to

• The CSA / PSA asking the PAX where they are heading too

• The CSA / PSA greeting the PAX and asking the PAX where they are going.

Stage 2 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA asking for ID and whether the PAX Passport is valid and any visas that are required are also in the Passport

• The CSA / PSA asking for ID and double checking their Duty Free allowance

• The CSA / PSA seeing whether the PAX is fit to fly

Stage 3 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA checking the amount they have paid for their duty free and checking whether they were charged the correct amount

• The CSA / PSA checking they type of airfare the passenger has paid for and also how much hold baggage they are allowed.

• The CSA / PSA checking the amount the PAX have paid for their entire holiday including hotel prices and car rentals.

Stage 4 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA asking the passengers whether they have dangerous goods items in their luggage, and then guessing the weight of the luggage.

• The CSA / PSA weighing the baggage and sending it straight onto the aircraft without anything else being done.

• The CSA / PSA weighing the baggage and how many bags the passengers has. Also updating the aircraft load sheet.

Stage 5 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA asking questions relating to dangerous goods; these may include 'Did you pack your suitcase yourself?' or 'Do you know exactly what is in your bag?'

• The CSA / PSA asking questions relating to their holiday destination eg. Which hotel are you staying at?

• The CSA / PSA asking questions relating to their baggage eg. How much was your suitcase?

Stage 6 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA printing baggage labels and handing them over to the PAX

• The CSA / PSA printing baggage labels ONLY for heavy or priority baggage

• The CSA / PSA printing baggage labels and putting them onto all the PAX bags. May also attache priority stickers or heavy labels if required

Stage 7 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA will print the PAX boarding passes and give over information about where the restrooms are and the nearest McDonald's

• The CSA / PSA will print the PAX boarding passes and give over information about which gate they will leave from and also the time of boarding

• The CSA / PSA will print the PAX boarding passes and will then bid the PAX goodbye

Stage 8 relates to -

• PAX making their way through duty free making sure they only collect their allowed allowance for the flight then heading to the gate

• PAX making their way through security classing them as being airside then heading to the gate

• PAX making their way through Customs and Immigration before proceeding through Security. This then classes the PAX on being airside. Here they can enjoy duty free, airport lounges, food and beverage outlets and shopping before heading to their gate

Stage 9 relates to -

• The CSA / PSA making their way to the gate to ensure all the PAX are meeting their Duty Free allowance

• The CSA / PSA making their way to the gate for boarding and to make announcements. PAX will then begin boarding

• The CSA / PSA making their way to the gate to introduce all the PAX to their PIC and Cabin-Crew
