• He didn't think he could, but offered because of הכנסת אורחים

• Learning from Avrohom Avinu who offered מלאכים food

• He thought that מלאכים were allowed to eat

• He didn't know that he was a מלאך

Why did מנוח want to know the name of the מלאך? Passuk יז

• was wondering if it was the same מלאך that was by אברהם אבינו

• To honor him when it comes true

• He didn't know what to ask, and was just trying to continue conversation

• He wanted to name his child after him

What did the מלאך respond to his question about his name? יח

• You can't ask, it's not known

• next time i will come I'll tell you

• My name is שמשון, and you should name your son after me

• Only ה knows my name

What were the 2 miracles the מלאך did on the rock with the lamb and flour offering of מנוח? Passuk כ

• Made the fire go directly straight up, just like the מזבח

• A fire came up from the rock, and ate the Korban

• The מלאך flew away in the flames

• Burnt everything, and the fire wasn't even hot.

What did מנוח ,realize after the miracle? כא

• That this was the same מלאך that was by אברהם אבינו

• That the אידן did תשובה

• That he never seen מלאכים before, and they are very interesting

• That it was a מלאך

What was מנוח now worried about? כב

• That they will die, for they are not worthy enough

• to keep every word of the נביא to the T

• That he didn't speak respectful enough to the מלאך
