Ted always carried a handgun in a holster strapped to his side. Everyone could see that Ted had a gun. One afternoon, Ted was stopped by a police officer because someone had complained that they were offended and afraid because Ted carried a gun. The officer asked Ted if he had a hand gun permit. Ted said no, but he did not need one because the gun was not concealed and he did not carry it in places where guns were prohibited.
