The use of seat belts has been proven to reduce the risk of injury or death in an accident. Seat belt has become standard component in cars. The research shows that most car accident will cause an injury to the head. Frequently, drivers or the passengers driving without seat belts die because of this. By wearing the seat belts, the injury will not happen since belts restrain our body on the car seat when the accident happens.
Unfortunately, many cars, especially the old ones, don't have seat belts. This is because the traffic conditions in the past were unlike the recent traffic conditions. The designer of old cars didn't consider a seat belt as an important part. Besides, the drivers wearing the seat belt will think that they are completely safe, so they may drive carelessly. Cancer is a very dangerous disease, which can affect humans, animal and plants. According to the American Cancer Society, 7,6 million people died from cancer in the world during 2007. Many researchers think that the risk of cancer can be minimized. On the other hand, there are some opinions that it cannot be minimized.
Research carried out by Harvard University showed one third of the seven million cancer deaths in the world could have been avoided if the victims had eaten sufficient fruit and vegetables, refrained from smoking, consumed less salt, sugar and oil, done more exercises, cut down on red meat consumption and watched their weight. Overindulgence in unhealthy habits is the key factor for cancers.
However, some doctors say cancer is a multi-factor disease. It’s a combination of environmental factors and family history. There is no clear definition to pinpoint there exact risk factor. There is no guarantee that a person who rigidly follows good health procedure will not suffer from cancer or vice versa.
This is a very subjective issue. Therefore people who totally ignore the healthy are advised to give up or at least reduce their unhealthy habits before it’s too late. Following a healthy lifestyle by occasionally eating less red meat, deep fried food or ice cream is not going to hurt them. To prevent is better than to cure, so go for a clinical check up regularly. Consult a doctor immediately. If cancer is detected earlier, there will be a better chance of cure.

to inform the reader about cancer disease.

Advertisements
There are many reasons for both sides of the question, "Should we have printed advertisement'?" Many people have strong views and feel that ads are nothing more than useless junk mail, while other people feel it is important source information.
There are some reasons why we should have advertisement in newspaper and magazines. One reason is ads give us information about what is available. Looking at ads we can find out what is on sale and what is new in the market. This is an easy way of shopping. Another reason is that advertisement promotes business. When shop owners compete against each other the buyer saves money, more people come to their shops and they sell more goods.
On the other hand, some people argue that ads should not be put in newspapers and magazines for these various reasons. Firstly, ads cost the shopkeepers a lot of money to print onto paper. Also some people don't like finding junk mail in their letter boxes. Ads also influence people to buy items they don't need and can't really afford. Ads use up a lot of space and a lot of effort has to be made the ads eye-catching.
After looking at both sides of issue, I think we should not have advertisements because they cost a lot of money and take up a lot of room in the papers. I don't think I find some of them interesting. I mainly disagree because it's junk mail.
Why does the writer present two sides of opinions of advertisements?
She/he wants to take side
She/he wants to be in the affirmative side
She/he uses the opinions to emphasize her own stance
She/he wants the readers know the opinion about the issue
She/he wants the readers to understand her stance
