Writer's Viewpoints

When summarising a writer's view point it is important to consider two things:

• Purpose (what the writer is trying to achieve)

• Entertainment value (the writer is trying to make the reader laugh)

• Form (type of text they're using)

• Name (who the writer is and if they're famous)

What is non-fiction?

• literature in the form of prose, especially novels, that describes imaginary events and people.
