All sentences require what two things -

Subjects can be -

Predicates must have -

• a verb

• an adjective or preposition

• a pronoun or preposition

• a noun or pronoun

In normal word order the first thing/part of a sentence is

• subject

• predicate

• verb

• adverb

In normal word order the second thing/part of a sentence

• subject

• predicate

• adjective

• noun

If you want to make a tag question (yes or no question) you have to

• put your left foot in and your left foot out...

• put the subject first and then the verb: SV

• put the verb first and then the subject: VS

• put the question word first and then the verb and then subject: QVS

If you want to make a regular question you need to
