MICE
Mice are small mammals with four legs. They have soft fur all over their tiny bodies. They have long, thin tails. Mice have black eyes, long thick whiskers and large pink ears. They squeak and can run very fast.
Some mice live indoors and some outdoors. Mice can live in a laboratory up to two years, but usually only about five months in the wild, mostly because of predators, such as cats, snakes and foxes.
The most common is the house mouse. The colour of its fur is from light brown to black. Mice eat 15 - 20 times a day, so keep your homes clean and don't leave food out.
They drink fresh, clean water. For some people mice are cute pets.
