What is the TMS?

• an organization of fishworkers demanding their rights to fishing

• A cooperative giving loans to fishers for repairing and buying nets

• Some private contractors

• they are hoodlums

How did the TMS affect the lives of fishermen?

• With the TMS, the fishworkers earned 3 time than before

• The cooperative arranged transportation to sell their catch to markets where the catch will fetch a good price

• The TMS also give the fishworkers loans for repairs of fishnets and buying of new nets

What does democracy stand for?

• Equality and freedom

• The dignity of people
