Animating Objects

This is a type of animation that controls how the object exits the slide.

These animations occur while the object is on the slide, often triggered by a mouse click.

This is a type of animation where the object moves within the slide along a predetermined path, like a circle.

These animations control how the object enters the slide.

The first step to applying animation:

Select the (a)   you want to animate.

(animation, object, slide)

2nd Step of applying an animation:

On the Animations tab, click the (a)   drop-down arrow in the Animation group.

(Many, New, More)

3rd step in applying animation:

A drop-down menu of animation (a)   will appear. Select the desired effect.

(effects, objects, slides)

4th step in applying animation:

The effect will apply to the object. The object will have a small (a)   next to it to show that it has an animation. In the Slide pane, a star symbol also will appear next to the slide.

1st Step in removing an animation:

Select the small number located next to the animated (a)   .

(object, slide, animation)

2nd Step to remove an animation:

Press the (a)   key. The animation will be deleted.

(escape, delete, enter)
