What is Ethics?

• A branch that deals with values relating to human conduct, considering rightness or wrongness.

• An intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world.

• The study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected by these.

• The study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline.

An example of behaving inmorally.

• Cause harm to another human being for revenge

• Respect my colleagues

What are the main purposes of ethics?

• Guide us to make a positive impact through our decisions and actions

• Be in peace with my community, following my values.

• Have fun with my friends and my family

• Socialize with my neighbors

What is a value judgment?

• An analysis based on a particular set of beliefs, ways of life or values.

• Set of customs and norms that are considered "good" to direct or judge people's behavior

• The branch of philosophy that studies human behavior

• Good things you do every day

Select the characteristics of ethics

• Guiding principles of conduct of an individual or group.

• Principles on wihich one's judgements of right and wrong are based

• Influenced by society, culture and religion

• Influenced by profession, field and organizations.

• Reasoning involved and usually considered universal.

(a)   is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. It is a stronger form of interpersonal bond that is emotionally tied by a sense of care and support with similar values and interests.

The contribution of ethics to my training consists of:

• Establish a series of rules as a guide of conduct

• assume an appropriate behavior for good social coexistence

• Rules of courtesy that show our respect for others

• All of the above
