How should faulty electrical equipment be dealt with?

• Labelled to check working order before using it again

• Put at the back of the stockroom

• Labelled as faulty and report to a manger

• Labelled as out of order

How can you prevent damage to the therapist’s/stylist’s skin.

• Use barrier cream

• Wear PPE

• Wash your hands regularly

• Ensure nails are painted
