Classroom Expectations

When should you come to class?

• Any time

• On time

What is the correct way to enter the classroom?

• Calmly and ready to learn

• Run in and be loud

What do you do as soon as you enter class?

• I chat with other students and start the Do Now late.

• I put my phone in a phone pocket and begin the Do Now because we are not allowed to use phones in class.

Where do you find the Do Now?

• On the screen. It is usually a game like Quizizz. 

• There is never a Do Now.

Should you speak while Mr. L is speaking?

• Yes

• No

Should you speak while a student is speaking?

• Yes

• No

Why should you not speak while someone is speaking?

• Because the rest of the class cannot hear what the person is saying and because it is rude.

• I don't know.

What should you do if you would like to speak?

• Raise your hand.

• Just talk aloud.

When can you go to the bathroom or get water?

• During the Brain Break (unless it's an emergency).

• Anytime you want.

Can you go to the bathroom or get water every day?

• Sure.

• No. Other students need a chance.
