Japan will lift Iran sunction following nuclear deal<br />Brown<br />January 22 2016<br />Lead in: the japanesse cabinet approved on Friday the lifting sunction of Iran, following the recent completion of a landmark deal to try to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Advance’s Jane Brown report.<br />The widely expected move will allow japanesse companies to persue investment in Iran’s oil and gas industry.<br />Chief cabinet secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters that the government would cancel bans of japannese investment in both export to iran and oil and gas-related business. <br />Yoshide Suga: “ we will continue to support the consistent implementation of the final agreementon the Iraniannuclear issue as we see it as a way to enforce nuclear non-poliferation and contribute to stability in the middle east.”<br />The UN certified last weekend that Iran had met all its commitments under that nuclear deal, leading to the lifting of long standing western economic sanction on the country.<br />8.
