Responsibility at Recess

When the signal is given to come inside, you should...

• Finish your game and then go in

• Scream at the top of your lungs

• Run all the way back so you can be the first to class

• Line up right away, walking inside the building

It's cold outside, what should you bring to lunch for recess?

• Skis

• A visor

• Winter coat

• Sandles/flip-flops

You're playing GaGa ball and the group says you are out. How should you react?

• Kick the ball as far as you can away from the pits

• Throw a fit and reuse to leave the pit

• Make a dust-angel in the middle of the pit

• Quietly leave the pit for the next person to get in

You get in a disagreement with someone at recess, what should you NOT do?

• Agree to disagree

• Walk away to calm down

• Tell an adult

• Kick them

You notice someone all alone at recess and they seem upset. What should you NOT do?

• Let a recess monitor know

• Run up and ask them why they don't have friends

• Ask if they want to join in with what you are doing

• Leave them alone, maybe they just want time to themself
