APU fire in flight is normally extinguished?

• Manually from APU FIRE panel.

• Automatically by the FDU.

• Automatically when fire handle ispulled.

APU fire on ground is normally extinguished:

• From APU FIRE panel.

• Automatically.

• From EXTERNAL POWER panel.

Can you use the LH fire extinguisher bottlesfor RH engine fire?

• Yes.

• Yes, if two fire extinguisher bottles of RHengine have been discharged.

• No.

Each engine fire loop comprises:

• Fan fire detector, core fire detector andpylon fire detector

• Fan fire detector and pylon fire detector

• Core fire detector only

Engine loop A & B are connected to the FDU:

• Serial

• Parallel

• ARINC 429 bus

In case of smoke detection, the smokedetector activates:

• GEN 1 LINE SMOKE, BLOWER FAULT andEXTRACT FAULT lights on.

• GEN 1 LINE SMOKE light on.

• BLOWER FAULT and EXTRACT FAULTlights on.

Loop failure warning are sent to:

• ECAM and CFDS

• CFDS only

• ECAM and fire panel

The A/C on ground, the APU fire warningsignals are sent to:

• ECAM, APU fire panel and externalpower control panel

• ECAM, APU fire panel

• APU fire panel and external powercontrol panel

The DISCH light on engine fire panel comes onwhen:

• The agent has been discharged

• Engine fire PB is released out

• Fire is on the engine

The fire extinguishing agent pressure ismonitored by:

• A pressure switch.

• A red light in the cockpit.

• A red disk on the pylon.
