An enterprise within the meaning of the Civil Code is:

• any legal person

• an immovable property

• any company which is a legal person

• a complex of components designed for carrying on an economic activity

Things (within the meaning of Civil Code) include:

• animals

• immovable properties

• current water

• electricity

Immovable properties include:

• all parts of buildings permanently attached to the land

• all material objects separated from the nature

• all building and parts thereof

• parts of the earth's surface constituting a separate object of ownership

The term "act in law":

• has nothing in common with "contract"

• has the narrower meaning than "contract"

• covers "contract"

• means the same as "contract"

Which term refers to the method of concluding the contract:

• sale

• immovable property

• act in law

• auction

As a rule in accordance with Polish law:

• act in law requires a form of notarial deed

• act in law requires at least a written form

• act in law requires at least an oral form

• no specific form is required for act in law

If statutory law stipulates for an act a form of a notarial deed the act performed without the observance of that form:

• is valid however a party may always evade the legal effects of the act

• is null and void unless the parties decide otherwise

• is null and void

• is always valid
