TallyPrime on AWS

A Customer has 4 branches and 6 users. They have one Multi user License and 3 single user license. Which do you feel is the best solution a partner can suggest for provisioning of the TPonAWS?

• Partner must suggest to provision the VM using Multi user License for Regular Pro (8u).
• Partner must suggest to provision 3 VM of 2 users each using single user licenses.
• Partner must suggest to go for 3 VM of 2 users and do data synchronisation with the MU License.
• Partner must suggest to go to 2 VMs one of 4 User and one of 2 user and then synchronise the data.

Customer have 13 users but they have 25 -30 companies and it is being accessed by all these users. Which is the best possible solution?

• Get a 16 user pack and provide respective company folder access to respective user.
• No it is not possible.
• Get a 16 user VM but all folder will be visible to all the user.

I am using International TallyPrime license. Can I opt for the TPonAWS?

• No. TPonAWS can be provisioned using Indian License only. However International license can be activated post Virtual Machine is provisioned.

Customer is using TallyPrime on AWS, yet an older release, how he can migrate to newer release. What would you suggest?

• Take the data back up and restart the Virtual Machine.

• Just restart the VM and new release will be updated automatically.

• Every user will have to migrate to new Release using their login details.

• Take a data backup and Login to SSP Portal> Login> Go to Actions Button > Select -Update TallyPrime> Select the latest release from the List> Click on Update.

Customer has a requirement of 24 user VM but don’t have a TPS license. What will you suggest?

• TPS Is mandatory, a customer can not run a TPS VM without TPS license.

• TPS is required only during the lead processing. It is not mandatory to run a TPS License for a TPS based VM

• TPS license is mandatory for lead processing and it is also mandatory to run it on the VM as well.

While creating a lead from the Customer's Portal. I am not able to select the partner's Name.

• Yes, Customer will require 2 user plan

Customer has 2 single user licenses and they opted for 2User pack. How to activate the TallyPrime licenses?

• No, It is not possible to activate 2 license on 2 user pack.

  He will have to get a Mutli User License

• On user one activate the first TallySr. No.

  Go to Manage User > add User > create second user>

  Login with the second id and reactive the second TallySr. No.

• Only one license can be activated here that too the one which is used for provisioning the VM.
