According to Heston SOP, security search before the first flight of your duty has to be performed:

• always

• only in the morning

• only when the aircraft is parked in the non critical part of security restricted area

What to report after finishing all pre-flight duties and security search:

• Security search completed. Ready for boarding.

• Emergency equipment check completed. Ready for bording.

• Emergency equipment check completed. Security search completed.

• There is no fixed report, just give thump up.

After the command: BOARDING COMPLETED, Cabin Crew should immediately:

• start passengers counting

• close all doors

• check passengers cabin (seat belts, overhead compartments, etc.)

Passengers counting will be performed as follows:

​​ (a)   counts PAX in FWD cabin. Reports directly to SCC;

​ (b)   counts PAX in MID cabin. Reports to SCC via interphone;

​ (c)   counts PAX in AFT cabin. Reports to SCC via interphone;
