Activate vs Reactivate

What are the rules to follow if an application is inactive or rejected?

• -Look for Negative Notes before activating or reactivating.

  -We do not provide client names to applicants, and we do not read notes verbatim to the applicant

• Review Notes and Activities and make determinations if the application can be reactivated or activated.

• If applicant/associate calls within 7 days of the date we can work with them again (time frame depending on notes/timeline given by branch), proceed with activating/reactivating and re-prescreening unless we have prescreened less than 30 days ago

• Always reactivate application

¿Which is the 1st step to determine if can be reactivated?

• A- Checking the notes and if the last assignment or interview was completed more than 1 year ago

• B- Verifying the experience and preferences to work

• C-Depending of the branch requirements

• D-Depending of the skills and employment history

Sarah called in asking about a job, but she was made inactive 20 days ago. Checking the notes, a recruiter left an "attendance issues" notation, Is she able to activate?

¿What can we do If the Applicant is only filed due to due to Prescreen - Not Selected?

• Review Notes & Activities to determine when they were prescreen - not selected.

  • If more than 30 days, review SAS branch prescreen page to see if the branch requirements have changed.

• • If the prescreen has changed, re-prescreen to confirm if the applicant is now eligible for an interview.

  • If eligible, activate if less than 1 year, reactivate if more than 1 year and complete the full prescreen/interview procedure.

• • If not eligible,

  • If less than 30 days or if more than 30 days and still not eligible after re-prescreening, advise applicant that the branch requirements for available positions have not changed.

    • Applicant can review other branches' websites (if other local branches are available in their area) and apply to any desired positions.

    • Applicant can reach out to other staffing agencies in their area to see what is available.

• If it has been more than 6 months since inactive, no other timeline was indicated in the notes, and no notes indicating that the branch does not want to work with them - activate or reactivate.

If an applicant has a rejected status and we activate, we must to change the application status to:

• Available

• OAE status

• Complete

• Screening

• Administration > Manage Application> Recruiter Assist. 

• Administration > Manage Application >Select Activate on Main Profile

• Administration > Manage Application > Reactivate button.
