Class Expectations

The first time I am seen using my cell phone for personal reasons in class:

• It will be taken from me forever.

• I will be asked to use the cell phone outside of class and come back to class when I am ready to participate.

• It will be taken from me until the end of the class.

The second time I am seen using my cell phone for personal reasons in class:

• A meeting with the Program Coordinator and the Instructor will be scheduled to review appropriate cell phone use and class expectations.

• I will be asked to use the cell phone OUTSIDE of class and come back to class when I am ready to participate.

• It will be taken from me until the end of the class.

If I really need to use my phone due to work or urgent personal reasons, I should....

• step outside of the classroom and return to class when I am ready to participate.

• quickly use my cell phone in class even if it is disruptive to others.
