(Chapter 9) The smile of God is the goal of your life. What makes God smile?

• When we love him supremely, trust him completely

• When we praise and thank him continually

• When we obey him wholeheartedly and use our abilities

(Chapter 9) Every human activity can be done for God’s pleasure if you do it with an attitude of praise except what?

• Sin

• Working, playing, learning

• Reading the Bible, praying, sharing faith

(Chapter 10) What is evidence to tell you that God loves you?

• He gave you the capacity to enjoy all kinds of pleasure

• He sacrificed His Son for you

• He forgives and is lovingly patient with you

(Chapter 10) What does it mean to surrender to God?

• Passive resignation, fatalism, or an excuse for laziness, accepting the status quo

• Through constant conversation (including God in every activity...)
