Islamically, Sujood as-Sahw refers to

• forgetfulness

• the errors made in Salah

• two prostrations made in Salah

• two Sajdah made at the end of Salah for errors made in Salah

Sujood Sahw is required on two main occasions

• when something has been subtracted or multiplied in Salah and when the number of Rakaah is doubtfull

• whenever anything occurs to the Salah to increase

• when something major has been added or dropped from the Salaah, and when the number of Rakaah has been forgotten

If some ones adds an extra Rukoo to the Salaah, the error should be corrected by

• making a Sajdah after the Tasleem
