classroom procedures

First thing in the morning, after I place my belongings in the hall, I

• walk in and talk to my friends.

• sit down and play games on my Chromebook.

• read a book of my choice.

• look at the Google slide and follow the instructions for morning work.

When walking in the hall I,

• walk side-by-side with my bestie.

• slide close to the wall and drag my hands on it

• wave to my friends in other classes.

• Walk at a zero voice, away from the wall, so I don't disturb others by dragging or tapping on it.

When I have paperwork to turn into the office, I

• put it in Mrs. Oliver's mailbox.

• take it to the office before I come to class in the morning.

• put it on Mrs. Oliver's desk.

• leave it on the security desk

When I turn in classwork or homework, I

• turn it in the the drawer of the appropriate subject.

• put it on top of the drawers by Mrs. Oliver's desk.

• keep it in my backpack becasue it really doesn't matter.

• Hand it to the teacher

I only go to the restroom when​ ​ ​ ​ (a)  

• my body says I have to go.
• when I'm bored and don't want to be in class.

I should only ask for a drink when I am thirsty and

• I'm taking a test or quiz.

• it is independent work time.

• Mrs. Oliver is instructing.

• it is silent reading time.

My water bottle belongs

• at my desk as long as I am careful with it.

• in my water bottle pocket.

• on top of the mailboxes.

• on the floor next to my desk.

When I need something I should

• Raise my hand with the appropriate signal and wait for Mrs. Oliver to answer me.

• Ask a classmate for help.

• Speak out loud without permission.

• Remain silent and hope for the best.

When I am done with my work and we have no instructions, I should always read a book or

• do Exact Path of the subject we are working on.

• play on my Chromebook.

• watch YouTube.

• sleep.

At the end of the day

• I should grab my things and run out the door

• I should listen to instructions, clean up my area, and get my mail from my mailbox.

• I should call my friends on my phone and make plans for after school.

• I should close my eyes and rest until we are dismissed.
