Class Expectations Quiz

What are the three classroom behavior expectations I have for you?

•  You will be KIND.  You will speak maturely and will show your integrity by using compassion and consideration for others’ feelings.

• You will be RESPECTFUL.  You will be courteous to your teacher and classmates.  You will respect our school community and protect school property.

• You will be quiet and only speak when called on. You will only be allowed to speak if you raise your hand.

• You will demonstrate SPEAKER COURTESY and be ACTIVELY ENGAGED.  You will follow directions the first time, be prepared to learn, use your time wisely, stay on task, and always put forth your best effort.

Once you get to class, what do you need to do?

• You will turn your cell phone sound off and place it into your assigned caddy space when entering the class. 

• 1. You will go directly to your assigned seat, take out your class materials

• You will complete BELLWORK every day through PEARDECK. The PEARDECK link will be posted every day through Google Classroom. 

• 1. Log into Google Classroom by the time the bell rings

What is the policy on cell phones/headphones/watches?

• Watches are NOT allowed to be used during class

• Your phone MUST be in the caddy by the time the bells rings, Air Pods MUST be taken out and placed in your backpack by the time the bell rings

• You need to make sure all electronics are in your backpack before class starts.

• You can leave everything on your desk.

What do you need to do if you need to leave the room?

• Nothing, you are free to come and go as you want.

• If you need to use the restroom, you must wait until after the first 10 minutes of class.  Once given permission, you will need to take the bathroom pass and sign out, and then back in.

• Ask the teacher's permission to leave the room. Leaving the room without a pass or signing out, WILL lead to an infraction. 

• If you need to go somewhere other than the bathroom, you will need to get a written pass.

If you are absent for two days, how many days do you have to turn in any missing work?
