CPR First Aid Test

The main elements of the adult and pediatric procedure for CPR AED include: assess scene safety, take standard precautions, assess responsiveness, activate EMS and/or your emergency action plan, send someone to get the first aid kit and an AED, and:

• a. Obtain consent.
• b. Provide compression-only CPR.
• c. Assess breathing for no more than 10 seconds.
• d. Attach an AED as soon as it becomes available.

High-quality adult and pediatric CPR includes all of the below EXCEPT:

Immediate high-quality CPR improves the victim’s chance of survival by providing:
